EdAttrs.Plg - Edit Attributes V1.0 A plug-in for Mark Esposito's Notepad (5.41) developed by Michael Baas of PSIOlogic (CIS: 106044,1744) Installation ------------ Copy EdAttrs.plg into the directory app\npad\plug. In Notepad, press Psion-W to get the plug-in menu and select Edattrs. Compatibility ------------- This program works with Notepad 5.41 - 6.x as well as with NotePad Deluxe, although it is a bit superflous with versions > 6 (incl. Deluxe), because the "Edit Details" provides the same functionality. This wasn't available in earlier versions, which is why this plugin was written. Other files ----------- I have updated the zip-file and added the source-code in the file edattrs.opl It may not neccessarily be a masterwork but I thought a glance at the code might be helpful for someone who attempts to write his own plugin - even if the plugin itself isn't much help these days. What does it do? ---------------- This add-on enables you to change the start/due-date of a note and also to add/remove a start/due-date. You may as well change the priority and you can modify a note's status (done/active). All that is done in one dialogue. Although it should really be self-explaning, here's a brief explanation of the elements in that dialogue: * Title / Text[1..255] Depending on whether you defined a title for that note or not, you will either see the title or the first 255 characters of the note and have the possibility to modify them. * Start date This field contains the start date. If no date has been defined, it will be the current date. * Save start date In order to add/remove the start-date, you can select whether or not to save the start date. * Due date / Save due date same as for start date * Priority you may change in the priority in that field * Status This gives you the possibility to mark a note as done or, more important ( since that is not possible from within notepad), you can re-activate a crossed-out note.
